About Evolution
1.0) Intro to Evolution
Welcome to Evolution! If you are new member or a long standing veteran of the guild, we hope you will take a moment to read through this FAQ to familiarize yourself with all of our policies, the resources available to you as a member, and generally gain a deeper understanding of the guild you are a part of.
2.0) Who are you guys?
Evolution is a semi-casual Horde guild on the World of Warcraft Moonrunner-US server. In July of 2006, Evolution was formed as a result of a merger between The Fury of Kalimdor and Epic Elite. We are continuing to develop a core of higher-level characters whose goals are endgame instancing and the rewards that come with that hard work. We consider ourselves a family-oriented guild and our main goal is to have a great time!
3.0) What we are about
Evolution is currently raiding weekly. We also have quite a few players who are astute fans of the PvP aspect of WOW.
4.0) Notes on our culture.
We are, at our heart, a semi-casual guild. While we have developed a group of people actively pursuing endgame, we also know that real life calls sometimes. In the end, the time you devote to the game will govern where you get in the game, but we wont ever hold your life against you. We have no firm policy on raid attendance but would like all our level characters to make an effort to join us in our progression.

6.0) Guild resources
As a member of Evolution, you have access to many resources to enhance your game playing experience, and help you grow your toon in new and more powerful ways. Below is an overview of what is available. They are covered in more depth further down.
Ventrillo - Evolution supplies a vent server for it's memebrs to aid in Raid progression and chatting between it's members. See the in-game guild page for more information or contact an officer.

Bank - Guild Bank is open for business. Members can make withdraws from Tab 1 and deposits in other Tabs.
Raid Page - Updated for members to sign up and track raid progress and DKP standings.
DKP - Currently, loot is distributed by rolls and /or an officer loot system for the officers mediate who may roll on certain items. Input from members is also taken into consideration. For 25 mans Evolution uses a modified Dragon Kill Points (DKP) system.

Each Other - The single greatest resource we have in the game is each other. Guilds form because like-minded players band together to achieve the things we could not do alone. Officers will make a great effort to help others in the guild, but members and veterans should always keep your eyes open for chances to help each other. What will make the greatest impact on our guild progression are the actions of all of our members.
